Itinerary

Arrive one day before so we can start early and reach our destination before sundown.

DAY 1

Early morning pick up from Bagdogra Airport. Our hotel is 170km (8 hrs) from Airport.

Overnight in Sherpa Homestay. Our stay has very basic facilities.
We will get only solar electricity, so please bring enough batteries for your camera

DAY 2

We are starting early for target birds and mammals, Red Pandas. There will be 05 guides to tracking Red Pandas. During this time, we will do birding. This area is 2,660 meters high, less explored, and highly recommended for bird lovers.

Overnight in Sherpa Homestay.

DAY 3

Start early morning moderate hiking. We will try for Red Panda and chances of beautiful birds like Nutcracker & Alpine Thrush and mammals like Clouded Leopard.

DAY 4

As usual, we start our expedition early morning. Today also we will try for Red panda and Eastern species of birds like Large Niltava, Fire-tailed sunbird, Red-headed Bullfinch, Collared Grossbeak, Accentors, etc.

DAY 5

Today again going surrounding areas of Red Panda and exploring full-day birds and mammals.

DAY 6

Departure early morning to airport 08 hours drive,
Please book a return ticket in the late evening or the next day

Travel charges from your locations to Bagdogra Airport and vice-versa.
Last-day food is not included.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancellation is before 45 days of the event, a 25% refund will be provided.
Cancellation within 30 days of the event, No refund will be provided.

GEAR GUIDE AND GETTING READY FOR THE EXPEDITION.

Carry Telephotos lenses for birds (at least 300mm).
This place is cold, so carry heavy woolen clothes for chilly mornings and evenings.
Please carry a sturdy tripod, for good sharp pictures in low light.
Binoculars and Torch is a must.
A basic first aid kit along with your regular medicines as may be advised (if any)
Backup memory cards, batteries, and Laptop.
Please ensure to carry spare batteries and Memory cards
Motion sickness is quite common while traveling on mountain roads, do carry medicines for the same.

Please be advised weather in the high Himalayas is highly unpredictable, Weather is primarily clear this time of the year, but it still cannot be guaranteed.
